Meaning of "Zanbeel"
“What’s in a name?” a famous line from Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet Name “Zanbeel” is an Arabic word meaning “Satchel” Zanbeel is mentioned in an important, Middle Eastern literature known as "Dastaan*-e-Amir Hamza" it is of Persio-Turkic origin. The two central characters of this Dastaan* were Amir Hamza and Amar Ayar, adventurous travelers.Historical traces are found in Arabia in the seventh century and the Dastaan* is a constellation of cultures, histories, lives and divergent universes which unfolds during several journeys of Amir Hamza and Amar Ayar. The journeys took Amir and Amar to places of magical wonderment. Amar Ayar’s "Zanbeel" was an endless pit of stories of wonderland, magic and fantasy.Art is story telling….. Scripture of the times, multitudes of fantasies and realities juxtaposing and finally an expression in writing or art form.
*Mode of story telling
